About
Nestled in the heart of Victoria, Texas, at 1403 N Navarro St, Ramsey's Victoria stands out as a cherished local gem, inviting everyone to savor its delightful offerings. With a focus on comfort food that feels like a warm embrace, this establishment has crafted a reputation based on consistent quality, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
As I ventured into Ramsey's, I was immediately struck by the homey vibe, reminiscent of Sunday family dinners. The menu boasts a variety of classic dishes, making it an appealing destination for breakfast lovers and lunch goers alike. The reviews tell a story of scrumptious meals, from flavorful omelettes to crisp waffles, and excellent biscuits that Scott McCormick couldn't help but rave about. For those who appreciate a hearty breakfast, Ramsey's seems to be a sanctuary of flavors that one can return to time and time again.
One of the highlights here is the renowned Tuesday special – Turkey and Dressing – and the celebrated Cinnamon Rolls that J.A. praises with heartfelt enthusiasm. Not only do the culinary delights shine, but the dedicated staff at Ramsey’s enhances the overall experience. Personal anecdotes from patrons highlight their friendly service, with many noting how the staff goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment. Jak Fiddler Band's review, while critical of the food, illuminated the genuine care of the staff, making it clear that at Ramsey's, you're more than just a customer; you're part of the family.
Food reviewer Rob J's enthusiastic endorsement of the Chicken Fried Steak reinforces the notion that Ramsey's can truly cook up a storm. As various patrons gather around tables to sample dishes like fried catfish on Fridays or the vibrant salad bar, it becomes evident that this local eatery is perfect not just for a meal but for creating lasting memories with friends and loved ones.
In a world where dining can often feel rushed and impersonal, Ramsey's Victoria sets a standard for what a community restaurant should be: delicious food, exceptional service, and an inviting atmosphere. Just as PMTasha described, it’s easy to see why many frequent this hidden treasure and leave with bellies full and hearts warmed. If you find yourself in Victoria, don’t miss this comforting haven that truly delivers on the promise of home-cooked goodness.
“ We stopped here and had a great meal. The omelette was tasty, waffle was nice and crisp and the biscuits were excellent. We were served with a smile. Great local place with comfort food. We may be back on our next trek through Victoria, Tx. ”
“ I wasn't necessarily a fan of the food, but the staff was amazing. Our waitress was super personable. Also I witnessed another staff member assisting a patron with their inhaler. What they lack in taste, they make up for in care. ”
“ Everyday is Thanksgiving at Ramsey's. We frequent Tuesday's for Turkey and dressing, Friday's for catfish and anyday of the week for breakfast or salads. My wife loves their salad bar, always fresh. Don't leave without trying a dessert, cinnamon rolls are awesome As far as service, can't ask for better. The waitresses are very attentive and most friendly. Haven't had a bad meal yet, all fresh and ample savings at reasonable prices. TY, God bless ”

“ My husband and I visited for the first time it was a pleasant experience. Our breakfast portions were large. I had eggs, pork chops, and hashbrowns with pancakes. My husband had eggs, chicken fried steak with hashbrowns. Truly delicious! Terry provided great and cheerful service. ”
“ We entered the busy restaurant during lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our super-charged and dynamic waitress, Jennifer, was incredible in taking care of all of customers. She ensured everyone's cups were filled and was literately Jennifer (Johnny) on the Spot. She definitely could use a raise for her outstanding performance. We had the hamburger steak smothered with gravy onions and loaded baked potato. We also did get a one-pass at the Salad bar and was very impressed too. The other meal was the daily Tuesday Special, Beef with Noodles. The Celery Soup was delicious too. Came in hungry and left Full. It was amazing how fast the food came out. Would definitely visit it again. Bathrooms were Very Clean! ”
